Mediterranean Agriculture and Climate Change, Impacts, Adaptations, Solutions

Climate change will have a direct impact on agriculture and especially in the Mediterranean, a hotspot of global warming. In this Watch Letter, CIHEAM wishes to evoke the impatcs of climate change in the Mediterranean agriculture, but also the adaptation strategies of this key sector and finally the multiple solutions that both agriculture and rural areas can bring. This issue, corresponding to the Thematic Priority n°13 of the CIHEAM Strategic Agenda 2025, is a major contribution to the COP22 that will be held in Marrakech next November. The publication is composed by 30 articles involving more than 50 international experts.
