Résumé : | Morocco, a Mediterranean country, is grappling with escalating agricultural challenges stemming from climate change. Nevertheless, the adoption of digital agriculture and precision farming presents promising solutions to bolster agricultural resilience. Digital agriculture[1] harnesses technologies such as drones and sensors to gather real-time data on crop conditions, thereby optimizing resource utilization and minimizing environmental impacts. Precision agriculture[2] takes this a step further by utilizing artificial intelligence[3] to analyze this data and make informed decisions on crop management, ranging from early disease detection to irrigation optimization. This innovative approach enhances farmer efficiency, reduces waste, and improves overall sustainability. By embracing these technologies, Moroccan farmers can enhance their resilience to changing climate conditions and other challenges, while contributing to sustainable and prosperous agriculture in the Mediterranean region. |
