| Résumé : | Agriculture faces increasing challenges, including climate change, growing global populations, and the need for sustainable food production. Young farmers, as key players in agricultural innovation, require effective support to adopt new technologies. This study explores the role of agricultural advisory services in promoting technology adoption among young farmers in the Municipality of Serres, Greece. Using directed sampling, data were collected through a survey of farmers conducted from May to August 2024. Results reveal positive attitudes toward innovation, satisfaction with implemented technologies, and a willingness to pay for advisory services. Additionally, the hypothesis examining the relationship between "payment for advisory services" and "implementation of innovation" is tested. Key findings emphasize the importance of targeted advisory services in overcoming barriers to technology adoption, fostering sustainable practices, and enhancing productivity. |
