Résumé : | Ecosystem services (ES) assessment has become a widely recognized analytical framework for addressing socio-ecological interactions within and across different biomes. The services provided by nature are crucial for life on earth and affect directly and indirectly human wellbeing (Constanza et al., 1997). There is a multitude of ES definitions (La Notte et al., 2017). Nevertheless, the most common is provided by the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment. ES are defined as the goods that people obtain from the ecosystems, such as regulating (e.g., climate, flood, pollution, noise), provisioning (e.g., food, fiber, timber, water), cultural (e.g., recreation) and supporting (e.g. habitat) (Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, 2005). |
