Résumé : |
In the current context of energy transition and the search for sustainable agricultural practices, agrivoltaics is emerging as an innovative solution, combining agricultural production with the production of renewable energy. This study assessed a panel of agrivoltaic projects using a specially developed tool based on a set of 73 carefully selected criteria covering environmental, agro-economic and social aspects.
The methodology employed focused on a detailed analysis of documents from public enquiry files, enabling crucial data to be collected for each aspect studied. This data was then fed into the assessment tool to obtain scores reflecting the level of sustainability of the various projects. The results highlight significant disparities between projects, with performance varying significantly in environmental, agri-economic and social terms. This study not only identifies the inherent strengths and weaknesses of each project, but also highlights the key elements that make the difference in terms of impact and benefits. In conclusion, this work aims to serve as a guide for future agrivoltaic initiatives, highlighting the essential criteria to be considered to ensure that projects are both viable and respectful of contemporary environmental and social issues. The recommendations are intended to encourage a more conscious and responsible approach to the development of agrivoltaics, promoting a harmonious synergy between agriculture and the production of renewable energy. |
