Résumé : | Cropping systems interact directly and indirectly with external conditions, which influence systems productivity and expose them to real risks under uncertain conditions caused by climate change. To ensure future yield stability, it is essential to understand how biophysical interactions affect system productivity and analyze feasible adaptation strategies to mitigate these impacts. In this context, this study aims to assess production risks using a biophysical model that represents crop systems under different biophysical conditions. First, the model was implemented, calibrated, and validated to improve its performance in simulating wheat and corn systems at the regional scale. In the second step, to assess future yield variability and ensure the long-term sustainability of the systems, sustainable rotations were proposed, simulated and evaluated in comparison with conventional systems. |
