Dans le cadre de sa prise de fonctions, Mme Véronique Dominguez-Guillaume, Rectrice déléguée pour l'enseignement supérieur, la recherche et l'innovation de la région Occitanie, a rendu visite au CIHEAM Montpellier, le 25 mars 2026. À travers quelques rencontres au fil de sa découverte des installations, la Rectrice, accompagnée du directeur Thierry Dupeuble, a pris connaissance des activités de formation dispensées et de leur forte intégration à l'offre montpelliéraine. Elle a aussi pu mesurer le très fort engagement de l'Institut dans des projets de recherche Horizon Europe, ainsi que dans l'appui au développement de l'agriculture et de ses chaînes de valeur, dans un contexte marqué par le changement climatique et une forte incertitude économique.
