“Field Surveys in Qsarnaba Village: A Collaborative Experience in Agricultural Development and Environmental Modeling”
Posted on November 16, 2023
Students of the DATEM Master's program "Développement Agricole Territorial, Environnement et Modélisation" carried out field surveys in the village of Qsarnaba in the Baalbek Hermel commune in Lebanon.
The students conducted five days of interviews with farmers and cooperatives.
The students were supervised by Salem Darwich, Roza Chenoune, and Ahmed El Fakih. A great experience for the students, despite the generally difficult climate, and an excellent collaboration between CIHEAM Montpellier and the Faculty of Agronomy at the Lebanese University, which has now lasted for over 10 years.
