We are delighted to announce the successful launch of the DIONYSUS project! After a year of intense preparation, a consortium of 14 outstanding partners from France, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Morocco, Algeria, Italy, Tunisia and Turkey met on 1 and 2 July 2024 at CIHEAM Montpellier to officially launch this groundbreaking initiative funded by the European Union as part of the PRIMA partnership (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area).
This project seeks to co-design, test and develop cross-sectoral adaptation solutions, using an approach based on the Nexus concept, in representative regions of the Mediterranean that produce essential agricultural products. The results of this project will help to shape policies that will strengthen the Mediterranean region's long-term capacity to adapt to diminishing resources.
