Med-Amin celebrates its 10th birthday.
Recent years have seen the Covid-19 pandemic, soaring prices for agricultural inputs, and the conflict in Ukraine, all of which have led to heightened geopolitical and commercial tensions. In this highly sensitive context, particularly for countries already suffering the consequences of climate change with violent and sometimes recurrent meteorological events, the MEDAmin network has been able to speak with a Mediterranean voice. It has succeeded in bringing together the region's stakeholders, continuing the gradual construction of early warning tools to better anticipate crises and dealing with them when they arise or become chronic.
Thanks to the remarkable work of its National Focal Points and associated partner organizations, the MED-Amin network has gradually managed to consolidate its achievements during this turbulent period, and to strengthen dialogue and trust, as well as decision-making and monitoring systems (...) 🔎 to be continued online.
