The DIONYSUS Project, Coordinated by CIHEAM Montpellier, certified by the Union for the Mediterranean

The DIONYSUS project, coordinated by CIHEAM Montpellier, has just been granted the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) label!
This recognition, adopted unanimously by the 43 Member Countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, highlights the potential of the DIONYSUS project to generate concrete benefits for Euro-Mediterranean citizens and to strengthen regional integration through innovative and sustainable Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus solutions. This label illustrates the scientific and partnership relevance of CIHEAM Montpellier and its partners in responding to the challenges of integrated natural resource management, operational adaptation and the resilience of Mediterranean systems.
Let ‘s work together to make the Mediterranean a laboratory for innovation and resilience, serving the regions and their citizens.

CIHEAM Montpellier is delighted to invite you to the next Café Doc on Friday, 24 October 2025 from 12.30pm to 1.30pm for a presentation by Federica Consentino* on: Generational renewal in agriculture: what?s the problem represented to be? Deconstructing policy representations in rural development programmes across Italian regions
*Federica Consentino is a PhD candidate in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Science at the University of Catania. Her research focuses on generational renewal and agricultural policies, with a particular interest in the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of rural development and agricultural economics. She has specialised in mixed-method approaches, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to analyse policy design, implementation, and impacts in rural contexts.
Location: CIHEAM Montpellier, Centre de Documentation Méditerranéen, basement of Bât B
The Café Doc will start at 12:30 with coffee and sweets. The presentation will start at 12.30pm sharp and will be followed by a discussion with the speaker, the moderators and the audience.
