The aim of the INSIST-VAT project is to set up a training programme at the Agricultural University of Tirana (AUT) involving national and regional stakeholders, to serve as the basis for Albania’s agricultural knowledge and innovation system. This project is designed to meet the objectives set for the AUT by the Albanian Ministry of Agriculture. These are to design a ‘producers’ training centre’ and to offer training courses tailored to the needs of farmers and extension agents.

The DIONYSUS project team recently participated in the EXCEL4MED Annual Meeting held in Montpellier on January 31st, 2025. We presented our project’s concept, partnerships, and objectives focused on advancing sustainable development within the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) nexus. The meeting provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration with other projects and stakeholders in the field. We extend our sincere thanks to the organizers and participants for facilitating productive discussions.
